everyday at school
I sit on a desk
with a book in front of me

locked up in a cage
I can't stand the classroom anymore
oh, how I wish something would change!
The Schoolchild wants to run around and play all day. The world of the grown-ups, though, forces it to sit on a desk or (even when it's not at school) to always have a book in its hands. It doesn't understand why it should study and it feels trapped. Of course, it has the most timeless and popular wish:
"I would like to finish school"
or, otherwise,
"I would like to grow up (so I can finish school)"!
